Before submitting your application, please take the following into consideration:
- As a student-run organisation, all current admins are university or sixth-form students.
- The role is voluntary, like all admin positions, but includes a small monthly payment based on our earnings from X monetisation and your level of posting activity.
- You need to be able to commit some time to posting news regularly on the account.
- No experience needed – just an interest in political news and a solid understanding of it.
- The role does not require an interview.

Run by students, for students – we’ve grown from 30k followers on X in February 2023 to over 360k today by cutting through the noise and delivering politics in a way young people actually want to read it. We do this by breaking news before any major outlet while keeping it engaging across X, TikTok, and Instagram.
As part of our editorial team on X, you’ll gain valuable experience in digital publishing, political reporting, and running a fast-paced news account. Even if you have no formal background in journalism, you’ll get the opportunity to learn and build a portfolio that can help you in future roles or applications.
