Before submitting your application, please take the following into consideration:
- As a student-run organisation, all current admins are university or sixth-form students.
- The role is voluntary, like all admin positions.
- You need to be able to commit some time to posting news regularly on the account.
- No experience needed - just an interest in political news and a solid understanding of it.
- The role does not require an interview.

About Politics US
Politics US was launched on 20 January 2025 following the successful model of Politics UK. Managed by a group of student admins, our aim is to engage young people with US politics through impartial, quick, and engaging news aggregation.
As part of our editorial team on X, you’ll gain valuable experience in digital publishing, political reporting, and running a fast-paced news account. Even if you have no formal background in journalism, you’ll get the opportunity to learn and build a portfolio that can help you in future roles or applications.
