Not Just Jenkyns’ Singing – The Craziest Moments from Reform UK Conference

Andrea Jenkyns turned heads at the Reform Conference with a singing entrance – but that wasn't the only crazy moment

Andrea Jenkyns’ Insomniac Entrance

Andrea Jenkyns made a dramatic entrance to the conference, drawing attention for both her musical arrival and her choice of outfit. Whether singing her own song about insomnia is the best way of portraying Reform as a serious party is debatable, although definitely a welcome break from the usual doom and gloom of the party.

Vaccines and the Royal Family

Oddly, Dr Mahmood attempted to link recent cancer diagnoses in the Royal Family to COVID vaccines. Then again, perhaps it is time Reform have their own insane health conspiracy theories, in the same manner Trump has RFK.

Andrea Jenkyns Singing Again

Jenkyns sang God Save the Queen at the conference, despite the monarch having died three years ago. She correctly sang “King” just a line before. Clearly, extreme patriotism isn’t a substitute for intelligence, for the musical mayor at least.

George Finch on Schools

George Finch claimed that schools are developing a “woke mindset,” attempting to make education a key battleground issue. However, instead of seeming cautionary about the plight of sixth formats, Finch rather just appeared to be bitter about his own recent experience with his Politics A-Level.

Made in China Reform Merch

In an embarrassing twist of events, Reform UK merchandise sold at the event was found to have been manufactured in China. Ironic that Nigel’s obsession with British economic autarky doesn’t stretch as far as the merchandising.

Protester Removed

A protester was physically carried out of the conference after disrupting proceedings, shouting “f*ck the fascists”, later urging the party to have “shame”. Farage’s commitment to free speech seemingly only applies when it’s not his party being questioned.

David Starkey and Jacob Rees-Mogg

David Starkey declared that no one wanted Angela Rayner burned, while Jacob Rees-Mogg reiterated he wouldn’t join Reform, despite his teenage daughter being a member. Perhaps Starkey is still stuck in one of his Tudor documentaries, believing that Rayner is truly at risk of medieval punishment at the stake. Then again, the entire Reform party seems to be trapped in the past.
