<p><strong>Baroness Liz Barker, co-Chair of the APPG on HIV and AIDS, ambassador for the Albert Kennedy Trust and Liberal Democrat Lords LGBT Spokesperson, and Spokesperson for the Voluntary Sector and Ian Green, Chief Executive of the Terrence Higgins Trust sit down with Chamber Chief Executive Ben Howlett to discuss World Aids Day. </strong></p>



<p>It&#8217;s World Aids Day and in this week&#8217;s Political Sandbox our experts discuss Ending Inequalities, and Ending AIDS. <br><br>Our panel discuss the progress that has been made in ending the AIDS pandemic as well as the stigma attached to those who have contracted HIV. We ask what would Terrence Higgins, the first British person known to have died of AIDS, and inspiration behind the Trust that carries on in his name, think of this progress? </p>



<p>Also covered are reflections on the &#8220;It&#8217;s a Sin&#8221;, Russell T Davies&#8217; Channel 4 show depicting the early years of the AIDS epidemic, lessons to be learned from the Covid 19 pandemic, innovations in treatment, barriers to services and the struggle for equality. </p>
